Rick Singer, SGTP Executive Director

Rick Singer, Executive Director has served in his present position since April 2007. Prior to joining SGTP, Rick began his career in a family owned retail and wholesale travel company. Among his many accomplishments, was the growth of the company from $5 million to over $50 million? While developing the family owned business, Singer maintained a keen interest in customer service. Following his career as an entrepreneur, he became the Vice President of Vendor Relations for Omega World Travel, the country’s 4th largest travel management company. During his tenure at Omega, Singer was involved in corporate and leisure contract negotiations with a primary focus in vendor negotiations. Rick has served on the Travel Agency Advisory Councils for Delta Airlines, Northwest and US Airways. A native of Maryland, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami, and now resides in Baltimore with his wife, Vickie and three children Morgan, Alexandra and Jacob.
