Finance & Budget Committee

Prepares and reviews annual budgets, reports on expenses for the society and ensures practices are consistent with Board policies and appropriate accounting standards.

Professional Development Awards Committee

Promotes the annual Professional Development Awards program, including the “Duncan Farrell” Person of the Year award.  Reviews all nominees and votes on the awards.

Review existing SGTP programs and services to determine if we are offering the right services to our members.  Develop communication strategies and outreach projects via SGTP’s website, print and electronic media.

Researches issues related to emerging technologies impacting government travel management programs, and makes recommendations on such programs to SGTP members.
